Margaret McDonald and Susan CampbellI seek interesting designs that are achieved with different scaled blocks within the same quilt. I was inspired by the propellers of motors and a desire to create a quilt with movement. I restricted my palette to traditional colours often found in vintage quilts. The different blacks and shirtings provide subtle interest.
