Porgy is a local fish along the eastern US coastline. In this quilt I showcased them and a sea turtle in a coral reef.
Porgies is another of my under the sea quilts made using a color pallete that was a little more subtle and neutral than some other colorful coral reef quilts I have made. Changing up the color and fabric selection is one of the things I find fascinating and challenging about making quilts featuring marine life in their normal habitats.
