This quilt evolved from a class taken by Gail Garber on drafting star blocks. I loved the idea of the off-center stars and wanted to use some beautiful silk fabrics my friend Beth Nufer gave me one year at Road. I love embellishing and had a great time in Madison, Wisconsin during Quilt Expo visiting bead shops in the area to find things that would carry out the theme. Appropriately named by my friend Linda Naughton from Duluth, MN.
