"Perseverance" by Sarah Ruiz features an exploration of outer space, both real and quilted.
Artist Statement: "NASA's Perseverance rover launched from Florida on July 30, 2020 and landed in Jezero Crater on Mars on February 18, 2021. It carried numerous scientific instruments and a mini helicopter called Ingenuity. The rover has already begun to collect rock and soil samples that will be cached for a future vehicle to pick up can return to Earth. I look forward to seeing what "Percy" will discover!"
