perfectly imperfect - i wanted this anniversary gift for my daughter and son-in-law to stand on it's own, and i wanted the batiks to stand out. the jewel-like colors are brilliant and the designs with-in each color are mesmerizing. red piping was added between the turquoise and the outer border of blocks. this is a king size quilt with quilting every 1/4", consequently it is quite heavy.
