"Peeper" features Phyllis Cullen's granddaughter as its titular subject as she peeks out the window.
In addition to wanting to make a big close-up portrait quilt with Peeper, Phyllis also wanted to show people that when you use fabrics that range from very light to very dark, and you capture the light in the right way, you can create something that looks very alive.
