This was a guild challenge quilt. The category was "10 Things"...meaning the quilt had to include 10 things.
My 10 things quilt focused on 10 hand embroidered circles. I wanted to use fabric from my stash and found a nice ombre and a small piece of Kaffe Fasset from which I made the "peels". I used my Accuquilt dies for the circles and the peel shapes. I edge-turned the pieces and machine apppliqued them on to the background. I quilted it on my Bernina 440QE.
