Artist Statement: "Quilters have oodles of scraps. I took hexagon graph paper and designed hearts connected with paths. The hearts were tones of red, and the paths white. The rest of the Yo-Yos were scraps. I decided to connect them on six sides, rather than four, to eliminate toe snags."
