"Passionately Purple" is Kris Vierra's first longarm quilted quilt.
Winning the 2008 Rookie of the Year at MQS, Kris says of Passionately Purple, "This was my first show quilt. My mom bet me I couldn't make a purple quilt and I said watch me. The corner LeMoyne stars are appliquéd onto the setting squares and surrounded with feathered wreaths and crosshatching to complete the traditional look."
