Rachel applied an abstract painting on the linen with garment ink (meant to resemble calcium encrustation on lava rock found here on Hawai'i Island). Then, handed it off to Dani with complete trust. They agreed on the final pattern that Dani brilliantly designed, and she then hand-quilted the entire piece!"
