Artist Statement: "Half-inch square images of notable women come together in this celebration of women's wit and wisdom. From a distance, the viewer sees a set of purple or red ready-to-kiss lips. Up close, women's faces emerge...from Abigail Adams to Annie Oakley, from Hillary Clinton to Judge Judy.. The real tale, however, is told on the back of the quilt; it features a key to the photos and a quote from each of the "Babes" seen on the front."
