I saw a class offered at Craft Napa taught by Leslie Tucker Jenison, I used a 30+ year old fabric as the focal pieces.
For over 30 years, I've had a fabric that I allocated to 3 quilts. This is the 2nd quilt. As soon as I saw a class offered at Craft Napa, I knew I was going to use this fabric. Leslie Tucker Jenison was my instructor and she is an amazing instructor. I did some tweeking in the construction becuase my fabric didn't want to follow the "rules" and I'm very pleased with the inspiration from this class. I have been asked if painted this fabric or used ink, but it is commerical fabric. I knew when I found it that I had to have it all, so I bought the 2 remaining bolts in the store. Longarm quilting was custom by Kathy Koch/Threadbear Quilting.
