Artist Statement: "I am hooked on wool applique, almost as much as I love creating quilts that reflect my familiy's and my own experiences and passions. Wool felt applique and embroidery allow me to create highly pictorial quilts full of texture, wonderful color and personal meaning. Thank you Wendy Williams for your inspiration!"

The quilt's architecture and "vibe", along with the village houses and flowers are adapted from Around the Garden by Wendy Williams. The San Francisco corner block is from Debra Gabel's Quilt Blocks Around The World."
