Artist Statement: "We fell in love with the magic and mystery of Anne Stokes' picture and set out to recreate it as faithfully as possible in fabric. We combined our two very different fusing techniques, hoping that the delicate gentle girl and the bewitched dragon would stand out from a rather dark and sinister background."
