Ode to Granny - This is a quilt I created for my daughter's graduation from college. My grandmother, Jillian's great grandmother, painted a jester on a pink sweatshirt when Jillian was about 8 years old. She wore it ALL the time until it didn't fit any more. I saved the sweatshirt for 14 years. On a trip to New Orleans, I found Mardi Gras material and knew I found the perfect fabric for the sweatshirt.
