Nature's Beauty - This was my first attempt at a watercolor quilt and I thought since the background doesn't take center stage (the watercolor part), this would be safe. Well, also having never done a quilt that required relatively perfect seams (all those 2" squares) I realized after I was done, that I didn't quite know where the 1/4" mark was on my machine's foot. Now I do! I love how much I learn with each new quilt I do. Flowers and hummers are two of my favorite things in nature. And, in this quilt, they take your eyes away from the misaligned seams!
