Nancy's Cuban Buttercups - My friend Nancy takes wonderful photographs. This shot of Cuban Buttercups (Turneria ulmifolia) looked like it would make an interesting quilt.
It is machine appliqued, embroidered and quilted. The fabrics are batiks. I used a bit of paint stick to darken the centers.
