My Covid 2020 Quilt
Pieced from mask making scraps
I started making masks and giving them away in March 2020 from donated fabric. I began sewing the scraps together not knowing what I was going to make out of them but not wanting to let good scraps go tho waste. I cut the 9x9 inch strip sets into 4 inch square patches and sewed 4 together and added white sashing. This is the end result. I gave the quilt to my adopted Mom because she thought it was the prettiest thing she had ever seen. I still have enough scraps to make a couple more quilts.
