When Ricky introduced his Kool kaleidoscope class by using African Fabrics my heart made a jump and I knew what to do. As the patterns of the fabrics are really wild an big it was not clear if the kaleidoscope could work. It does, for me. All yellow and the border is from one kikoy. Quilted in soft waves with a color changing thread with the walking foot. Text in the corners represent special memories of our years in DR Congo and Uganda. I am so happy to have found a way to use those fabrics I quilting. Thank Ricky, you are the best.
