MQ Challenge 2008 - This was designed for the 2008 Minnesota Quilter's Challenge, which was to commemorate the MQ's 30th Birthday. In the design, there are 3 shells, one for each decade. From each, the seahorse is pulling a string of 10 pearls, one for each year. The fabrics were all a part of the "Challenge Packet" to be used for the project.
This not only won 1st place, but it was then put into the Silent Auction and brought almost $250. I was very honored.
