Monkeys in My Hair (Evie) by Deborah S. Hyde has just won the Handi Quilter Best of Show award at the 2023 Houston International Quilt Festival. It previously won the Best Wall Quilt Award at the 2022 AQS QuiltWeek in Grand Rapids. Deborah says, "Monkeys in My Hair has been my most ambitious project so far. There are 2 monkeys in her hair, but can you count the birds? The butterflies? The Frogs? The dragonflies? Even I have not taken time to add up the bees, flies, and ladybugs!"
