Miniature Lone Star
Miniature Lone Star
Used scraps to make this mini Lone Star Quilt in a class taught by Becky Schaefer.
I had a great class with Becky Schaefer who taught how to make Miniature Quilts in Traditional Patterns. The seams are all 1/8" and the piecing was done the same as with a "full size" quilt. Instead of quilt batting I used a thin batting that was used when recovering furniture. At that time batting was definitely "high loft" It is hand quilted. If you are looking for a great book on Miniatures check out her book "Working in Miniature - A machine piecing approach to working in miniature"
