Using some of my favorite colors and fabrics, I completed this top in September 2019 at the Mens Quilt Retreat in Chester, Vermont. It was quilted in 2020, and finally completed with the binding and hanging sleeve in 2021.
As the flying geese are going over the different colored strips, it reminds me of their journey over mountains, lakes and rivers, fields and prairies, through sunrises and sunsets. It inspires me to continue to look forward to the highlights and beauty the future will bring.
