Artist Statement: "I always wanted to make a blue and yellow quilt and when Claudia sent a photo of this design she had come up with on EQ8 it was perfect. I also wanted to do some machine appliqué on my new Janome machine. There is also hand appliqué to accent the quilting designs and lots of added crochet circles and embellishments."
From MANCUSO: "An original Claudia Clark Myers design, this quilt was such fun to make because of all the different techniques involved. Embellishing was even more fun with hundreds of little crocheted and beaded circles added, as well as beads, crystals and hand embroidery. The dimensional edge was the finishing touch."
Techniques: Pieced and appliquéd with cotton fabrics, hand embroidery, Swarovski crystals, crochet, and hand beads. Stitched with kimono silk thread
