When Elaine Putnam came to Gina Perkes with her finished quilt, Midnight Dahlia, she knew that she did not want to quilt it by herself. So, she asked Gina if she would quilt it for her. Of course, Gina said yes and took advtange of the quilt's vast negative space to do beautiful machine quilting everywhere. It was, as Gina says, "just a playground for a machine quilter."
