Yoko SaitoThis quilt holds many memories for me. I opened my own quilt shop and patchwork and quilting school in 1985. It was my first time to formally teach. I remember feeling the need to design original quilts and projects that I could teach to my students. I used traditional elements to create the center block and borders. I experimented with color.
