Maze of Vines and Roses by Judy Garden won the Best Movable Machine Workmanship Award at AQS QuiltWeek Daytona Beach 26.
Artist Statement: "I started this in 2018 after discovering the red and white fabric in a store in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The top border was done in a few months, and then it hung on my design wall for the next five years. I usually design from the center outward so this design process was a tough one, trying to make the center work with the border. After numerous drawings and a final push at the beginning of this year, I finally finished this well-loved quilt."
