Matthew's Broken Star - My son always enjoyed my sewing endeavors and this was to be his quilt - we chose the broken star pattern and I added the original 'star' ends. The patriotic color scheme seemed to be a good choice for a boy. This was my first real bed size quilt....and it turned out pretty good. Loved hand quilting it! And he still prizes his quilt, keeping it in very good condition!
