"Marimba" was born out of Rayna Gillman's collection of scraps from all over the world.
One day, when she didn't know what to do, Rayna sat down and began to cut strips out of her scrap collection and just started to alternate the prints with another set of white strips. From this exercise, Marimba, her simple and elegant quilt was made.
