Madden
The quilt I am most proud of making. From a photo of my grandson when he was about 2, taken on a very bright, snowy day.
Madden - I loved a certain photograph of my grandson Madden when he was two. I turned it into a quilt portrait and gave it to his parents for Christmas. I am very proud of how it turned out. It is fused fabric, a little paint, a little makeup, crystals for the snow, and a beautiful BERNINA satin stitch done over a piece of yarn (red trim on hat). It was a joy to make. I mounted it on a canvas and my daughter in law pulled another piece of art off the wall and hung it immediately upon opening the gift! I think they liked it...
