I made this quilt during Dee Christopher's wonderful class on the Jen Kingwell quilt long Time Gone.
I wanted to make a Jen Kingwell quilt for some time, and then Dee Christopher happened to teach a class on Long Time Gone. I participated in Dee's classes which began in February, 2021 and completed the quilt in September, 2021.
Long Time Gone is a scrappy sampler quilt with a modern twist. The quilt is made up of 16 different blocks. Some blocks included are square in a square stars, pineapple log cabin, crosses of the U.K., trip around the world, and 60 degree triangles. This was a great challenge for me and I am pleased with the results.
