Artist Statement: "Lizzy's Jumping Jacks was inspired by the book Lizzy Albright and the Attic Window by Ricky Tims and Kat Bowser. During Lizzy's journey in a magic land, she comes across flowers called Jumping Jacks. Ricky's hand-dyed fabrics were perfect for colorful flowers, and I had a wonderful time playing with thread color to make the flowers come alive."
