"Lighted by the Blinds" by Karen Bolan was featured in the MQG Quilts of the Month category at Quiltcon 2022.
Artist Statement: "Lighted by the Blinds was inspired by shapes and shadows formed when sunlight emerged between the window blinds in Karen's house. The design plays with color, scale, and shape while teaching piecing skills important in modern quilting, including working with large pieces, strip piecing, and using templates."
