Letters From a Broad
Letters From a Broad
Artist Statement: "This is the quilt that started all this madness! I created this quilt to fit a specific wall in my house. Each block was pieced, appliquéd, and quilted separately, then all were hand sewn together. I entered it in a quilt show, my very first one, and it won 3 awards and some nice prize money, and I thought, well I wanna do this again!! I had so many ideas for other alphabet quilts that I decided I was going to create a series of 26 quilts, all featuring the alphabet!"
Fun Fact: "This quilt has never hung on the wall I made it for!"
