Lakehouse Quilt - This quilt is made for the back of the couch at my Mom and Dad's lakehouse in western Illinois. The design is inspired by a quilt I saw in a magazine, although I simplified it a bit as I'm still somewhat new to quilting.
As for the quilting itself, it is not my strength and I definitely need more practice so I used invisible thread so it wouldn't stand out. I used a tulip pattern on the blocks, a circular swirl on the inside border and a rope-like stencil on the outer border.
