Knotty but Nice

Knotty but Nice

Knotty but Nice by Marque McKay, and quilted by Karen Lambdin, was part of the Machine Quilting category at Houston 2024

Artist Statement: "In 2022, during a fit of boredom, a set of Celtic Knots disguised as Snowflakes danced into 14 EQ quilt squares on point and formed themselves into a quilt. It took all of 2023 for me to turn it into a finished product. in 2024, Queen Bee Karen Lambdin volunteered to quilt it, combining her choreography with mine. We are quietly proud."
