Artist Statement: "This is the third in a series of quilts exploring the art of various cultures. This quilt represents art found on tomb walls and monuments in ancient Egypt and Egyptian hieroglyphics. The two cats represent my two Egyptian Mau cats who were instrumental in the creation of this quilt."
Techniques: Machine Piecing, Hand Appliqué, Hand Embellishment, Hand Embroidery, Reverse Appliqué
Materials: Cotton Cloth, DMC Embroidery Floss, Beads, Quilters Dream Select and Hobbs Heirloom Wool Batting
