"Journey" by Cathy Perlmutter is a quilt that provides a very fast summary of her parents' immigration story.
One corner of Journey, represented by the sarcophagus head, depicts the oppression suffered in Egypt. This leads to a trail of rubber stamped footprints that represent the journey taken to America, symbolized by the head of George Washington. This is Cathy's parents' story in a nutshell and was made for the Passover holiday.
