Artist Statement: "A strip for every day of 2023, hand-embroidered with something delightful I experienced or noticed that day. Inspired by Ross Gay's wonderful essays, this quilt provides a record of the delights instead of the low points in a year where there were low points a-plenty. Let the heartbreaks fade. I survived them all. Let the delights stay vivid in my mind, sharp as the needle that stitched them into this quilt for hours upon hours."
