Isn't it Romantic?
Lovely applique done with a machine blanket stitch.
Nancy started with a pattern by Esther Aliu, stitching a blanket stitch on her old BERNINA. She said she loved the thunk sound her old BERNINA made :) Nancy uses 2 different battings; wool batting on the top with a cotton batting underneath it. She says the wool batting when quilted provides dimension to her quilts, and as you can see she knows what she is doing! If you would like to learn more about Nancy Arseneault, go to Quiltipedia.
