"Indian Whimsy" by Deborah Kemball was exhibited at the Houston International Quilt Festival in 2012.
Artist Statement: "I had such fun with this quilt...mixing all my techniques and fabrics with some motifs stuffed trapunto style and some not. The flowers range from classical style to whimsical, and the vibrant colors and the important touches of acid saffron yellow silks remind me of Indian textiles, a source of great inspiration."
