Indian Orange Peel - Paper pieced using 125 fabrics, mostly batiks. Very challening to assemble, especiialy the border.
The designer, Karen Stone, does not give as many tips in her book as I needed, but then, I have only been quilting 3 years. On a difficulty scale of 1 - 10, I thought this was an ll! I put 300 hours into this quilt from selecting fabrics, washing, ironing, starching, cutting, assembling color combos, machine stitching, tearing off paper patterns, assembling blocks and border and then quilting on my home machine. No wonder it took me two years!
