"In Time of Friendship" was Linda Franz's first bed quilt.
In Time of Friendship was made by Linda almost entirely by hand. Hand stitching, hand appliqué, hand piecing, the only time a machine touched it was the first stitching of the binding. It won First Place in the Traditional quilts category in Paducah in 2000, and it is her interpretation of a Dear Jane quilt.
