"In My Next Life" by Cheryl Lynch depicts a scene from Avignon in the Provence region of France.
After she visited France, Cheryl wanted to recreate an iconic French scene from Avignon in the Provence region. In My Next Life has everything you would expect to set the scene, a bicycle, an old door, and a window with a grill on it. And, like many of Cheryl's quilts, it is done in a mosaic style featuring many, many pieces of fabric. Everything from the window down to the bars of the grill are individual tiny squares of fabric.
