Artist Statement: "Creating this quilt was an exercise in letting go. Having no choice about color or placement of blocks was foreign to me. After forty days I started over with a new block palette-the one you see here. the new block creates a secondary pattern that gives the quilt more interest. I've never followed the weather as closely as I did in 2020!"
