Artist Statement: "I created this quilt to raise awareness about live horses being flown overseas from Canada in inhumane transport conditions so that they can be slaughtered and cosumed raw. While Justin Trudeau mandated the Canadian government to ban this horrible treatment of horses in 2021, it has yet to be passed in parliament.
