I enjoyed making the BOM Homeward Bound, however the pattern didn't provide a quilt of 324" perimeter which I needed to be accepted for judging at the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies. To fix this I redrew several of the borders. Before I could have my quilt accepted by the OAAS I had to be Grand Champion at our local fair and then also be the winner regionally. This was accomplished and my quilt was on its way to Toronto, Ontario for the judging at the OAAS annual conference. What a lovely surprise to get the news that my Homeward Bound was Grand Champion of all fairs in our province. Notice the Blue ribbon, our Canadian indication of first place.
