My first landscape quilt. First attempt at diamond piecing, all done in hand applique using appliquick method, learning about color, light and perspective. Took nearly nine months (child gestation period). First time I worked with long arm quilter, together it was a joy. I made it for my daughters bedroom wall, to remind her of home. Original design, went from pencil sketch to fabric on the wall.
Made in three panels to make hand applique possible.
