Artist Statement: "I am inspired by adult coloring books. With the artist's permission, I created Heart and Soul. This is a wholecloth quilt; all the color is from variegated thread. I usually prefer bright colors but chose pastel colors here because the piece has such a delicate look. It is completely hand quilted and includes ruched flowers, beading, crystals, embroidery, stuffed work, and trapunto. it took 14 months to complete."
