I made two of these 2017 BOM's - one for my sister, one for myself. Both completed in Aug '22
In January 2017, I fell in love with a key fabric and thought of using it to do the TQS BOM. I happened to have a yard of it in my car when my sister and I went to breakfast one day, and she remarked on how lovely it is. I thought, "why not just make two and surprise her with one of them?" After the March step in the BOM, life events interrupted and I didn't get back to them until 2021. I often make a change to a quilt to "make it my own." For these two, I substituted appliqued flowers, leaves and berries for the geese/semi-circles that Sue Garman had designed.
